Personas & roleplays

Personas and roleplays are the core content of the platform. Managers create most of this content — see the Manager guide for the full step-by-step. As an Admin you can create, edit, publish, and delete any persona or roleplay, regardless of who made it.

A persona is the AI character a learner converses with. Each has a name, job title, company, personality description, behaviour, a tone (13 options), an ElevenLabs voice, an avatar, and up to five weighted evaluation criteria.

  • Default personas — create system-level personas available to everyone as starting templates.
  • AI-suggested criteria — on the persona form, select AI Suggest to generate five role-relevant scoring criteria automatically.
  • Visibility — set a persona Public or Private. As Admin you can override the visibility of any persona, for example to promote a high-quality one to Public. Private personas show a Private badge.

A roleplay is a scenario that attaches a persona to a situation with a context, objective, time limit, and evaluation criteria.

  • AI generation — on the Create Roleplay form, select Generate with AI and enter a short brief; the platform drafts the name, context, objective, and opening message.
  • Scenario Builder — a visual, node-based editor for branching conversation flows. See the Manager guide.
  • Default roleplays — create system-level scenarios available platform-wide.
  • Publish control — publish or unpublish any roleplay from the list using the status toggle, regardless of creator.

From any roleplay you can open View Reports to see every session run against it, with scores and per-criterion breakdowns. See Reports & monitoring.
