AI text assist

Edzrise Builder includes AI text assistance on text-bearing fields. AI never silently overwrites your content — every result is shown for you to accept, regenerate, or discard.

Use the ✦ control

On any text field (rich text, heading, or list), select the ✦ control to open the assist panel.

1. Choose an action (below) or type a free-text prompt.

2. The AI returns a suggestion — for text fields, new text; for list fields, a set of items.

3. Accept to apply it, Regenerate for another option, or Discard to keep your original.

What it can do

• Rewrite — reword the text.
• Shorten — make it more concise.
• Expand — add more detail.
• Fix tone — adjust the tone.
• Make N bullets — turn the text into a bulleted list.
• Suggest a heading — propose a heading for the content.
• Free-text prompt — describe what you want in your own words.

Providers

Your administrator configures which AI providers are available (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini). A provider appears in the ✦ picker only once its key is set. When more than one is configured, you can choose the provider per generation.

If no provider is configured, the ✦ control still works using a built-in offline transform — so it never hard-fails, though results are simpler than a real model.

Note

If the ✦ control doesn’t appear, AI assist may be turned off site-wide or no provider key is set. Ask your administrator — see Settings & permissions.

Coming later

Block and section generation (“generate 5 flashcards from this text”, “a CFU from this lesson”) and image generation are designed and partly in place, but not yet active. They will appear in a future release.
