Interactive blocks — screenshot pending
lms/images/edzblocks-index-1.pngInteractive content like Check-for-Understanding questions and flashcards tends to get rebuilt separately for every place it’s used, and the engagement it produces ends up scattered and inconsistent across the platform.
Interactive blocks are a shared library of content and interactive widgets. Each block is built once and rendered everywhere it’s needed — inline on a page and inside EDZ Rise lessons — with every interaction recorded in one place.

Consistent engagement data
Every interaction a learner makes with a block, wherever it appears, is recorded in one place — so engagement data stays consistent across EDZLMS.
Foundational component
A required building block with no screens or settings of its own. Other interactive features depend on it being present.
For administrators
Interactive blocks must be installed and present for the Interactive content filter and EDZ Rise to work — install it together with (or before) those features. There are no settings to manage.
Where blocks appear
This is a foundational component: it has no screens or settings of its own and administrators don’t configure it directly — they just need it present for the interactive features to work.
