The problem

Useful reports are scattered across the LMS and mostly locked to administrators, so ordinary users can’t self-serve their own data and HR or managers have no single place to find site, team, and course reporting.

The solution

Report Panel is a single Reports Hub — one landing page with a grid of cards, each opening a report. Every logged-in user sees the panel, but each card is scoped to their permissions, so people only ever see what they’re allowed to.

Guide

Open the hub

Every logged-in user can open the panel; what each card shows is scoped to their permissions. Team managers additionally see the Team reports card for their own team.

Configure and grant access (administrators)

Set the panel heading and card URLs, and enable or disable each card — see Admin & the HR Manager role.
To give a non-admin the full, all-user experience, create an HR Manager role granting local/reportpanel:viewall.

Access modes — controlled by a single permission:

Full mode (administrators and the HR Manager role) — every card, selection forms, a user search, and data across all users.
Self mode (any other logged-in user) — the same cards but showing only their own data; site-wide cards are hidden.

The accent colour follows your active theme, and the plugin stores no data of its own — reports read live from the LMS.

How do I give a non-admin full reporting access?

Create an HR Manager role and allow local/reportpanel:viewall (plus local/reportpanel:view), then assign it as a system role.

What's the difference between full mode and self mode?

Full mode shows all-user data, selection forms, and a user search. Self mode shows the same cards but only the viewer’s own data, with site-wide cards hidden.

Does the panel store its own data?

No. It stores no data of its own — every report reads live from the LMS.

Can I customise which cards appear?

Yes. In the plugin settings you can set the panel heading, edit each card’s URL, and enable or disable each external card.

What export formats are available?

The quiz, certificate, and consolidated reports offer Download PDF (a branded report) and Download CSV.
